Affleck Winery is one of the oldest small Boutique vineyards in the Canberra district. This is a family affair, making a variety of wines and one of the few to make fortified wines. Open for Tastings and Cellar Door sales. Picnic facilities available. Open 9am to 5pm every day.

Bardy's Cafè is a relaxed convivial place; a sunny deck; a coffee made with care and a range of gourmet pizzas and healthy lunches to delight the taste buds. We pride ourselves on using fresh produce, including locally farmed organic free range eggs which make our breakfast something worth talking about. Open most evenings, from 5pm for gourmet pizzas, and every day (exept Tuesday) for great coffee and healthy lunches. BYO welcome.

Brooks Creek Vineyard, located in the picturesque and sheltered Brooks Creek valley, is the home of Little Bridge Wines, a partnership founded by friends in 1996. We produce a variety of red and white wines as well as a sparkling Pinot/Chardonnay. The image shows the perfect winter reflection of the 30 year old Mourvedre grapes at Brooks Creek Vineyard, one of the oldest plantings in the Canberra District. Ideally suited to a relaxed wine tasting experience, Brooks Creek is open on weekends and public holidays from 11:00 - 4:00.

Fresh fruit and vegetables including some organic. Most produce is sourced direct from the grower with the balance coming fresh from the Sydney markets. Deli items include freshly made smallgoods — preservative free and quality cheeses. Gelato bar — award winning quality gelato. Also daily — freshly made salads, fruit salads, freshly squeezed juices and a variety of fresh breads (including organic Italian and Turkish breads).

Merging the European tradition with a contemporary aesthetic flavour. Koonaburra Vineyard grapes were first planted in 1998, Besides Merlot, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc varieties, the vineyard produces Rose, Sparkling Merlot and Riesling Sec wine all delicious served chilled. (Formerly known as The Harp Hotel/Motel), there's always good old country hospitality at The Lake George Hotel. First licensed in 1838, it retains old hotel charm, with a 3 star motel, playground, in and out-door entertainment and restaurant (closed Tuesdays).

Lark Hill Winery was established in 1978, on the Lake George escarpment overlooking Bungendore village. The vineyard and wines are fully certified Biodynamic, being one of a handful of accredited Australian wine producers. Lark Hill has won many Australian and International awards including the Austrade 2007 Export Award for the ACT and region, a place in the World's Top 100 Organic/Biodynamic Wines at the 2008 London International Wine Fair, and regular 5 star & Gold ratings. The cellar door is now complemented by a beautiful vineyard restaurant overlooking the vines. Biodynamic and local produce is used, matched with wines from our Museum cellars, and served on the deck, or by the fire in winter. The cellar door is open Thurs to Mon, 10am to 5pm, and the restaurant is open for lunches weekends and public holidays. Bookings for lunch are advisable.

Bungendore village is the new home for Christophe's cuisine. Christophe is a master chef from France, who has practiced and taught in France, the Pacific and in the Americas. Christophe and his spouse Josephine established their first restaurant - Christophe's Restaurant in Manuka, Canberra. While you are in this apt Australian country setting, Christophe's dishes will take you on a journey through France's gastronomic regions. The menu has been created from a combination of his love of the traditional French cuisine, natural flavours and ingredients, slow cooking methods and his travels around the world. The wine list offers you French and some local wines, which Christophe knows well professionally. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy a complete French gastronomic experience. Le Très Bon is also a cooking school and do personalised food and wine tours to Les Vosges, France.

Glipse the fascinating inner workings of a winery at LERIDA ESTATE. Producers of super-premium wines, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Merlot and Rose. Cafe Lerida open weekends 10 to 5, BBQ/picnic facilities, an elegant courtyard, tasting room heated with an open fire and a Glenn Murcatt designed winery make this an obligatory stop on any wine tour. Already proving popular amongst the locals, if you're after a REAL hamburger, at a great price, it is well worth the visit. Rabbits Takeaway is located next to Caltex on Malbon Street.
