Situated 20-30 minutes (35km) East of Canberra and the Australian Capital Territory, the charming village of Bungendore, with its numerous specialty shops and old stone, brick and timber buildings, is conveniently situated close to everywhere and everything.

Bungendore is located in New South Wales, in a beautiful valley just south of Lake George, 265 km south-west of Sydney, 26 km north-east of Queanbeyan and 701 m above sea-level.

BY AIR: Bungendore is 28km from Canberra, ACT, International Airport with direct flights to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and some country cities. BY RAIL: For train lovers, there are several trains daily from Sydney or Canberra to Bungendore Rail Station. From Bungendore you can travel to Goulburn, Moss Vale, Campbelltown, Strathfield and Sydney Central, or in the other direction to Queanbeyan and Canberra. BY CAR: Driving to Bungendore is an easy 3 hours from Sydney; about 25 minutes from Canberra; and about 7-8 hours from Melbourne, via Albury/Wodonga and Yass. Remember to stop, revive and survive every 2 hours when driving.
