Australian Red Cross
The Australian Red Cross provides various community services, ranging from blood supplies and disaster services to first aid and refugee services. The Red Cross is active in the Bungendore area helping the most vulnerable and isolated, but is always looking for community care welfare services volunteers in the Bungendore region. Community Visitors scheme volunteers work with residents in local aged care facilities. Telecross and Telechat volunteers make regular phone calls to elderly and isolated people living at home. For those wishing to volunteer, please phone 02 6234 7632 or email volunteernow@redcross.org.au.
