Bungendore Country Muster
The Muster, which was first launched in 1986, is unique in that it is the only “all Australian” country music festival in Australia and has a core policy of existing for the betterment and benefit of the Bungendore community and Australian country music. All money raised during the festival goes to the local community and on improving the facilities for patrons. The Festival is held on the first weekend in February each year with the next one due to be held on: 31st January 2009.

Local residents and landholders interested in the planting and propagation of native trees and shrubs. Activities include monthly meetings, propagation sessions, nursery work and tree and shrub plantings on public and private land in the area.

Lake George Day View Club
(Voice, Interests and Education of Women) – The Club meets on the third Wednesday of each month at mid-day at various local venues. Rotary Club of Bungendore
Rotary Club of Bungendore is an organisation of people united to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace. Rotary meets every Tuesday night at 7pm for fellowship and a meal in the Community Centre in Majara Road, opposite the swimming pool in Bungendore.
