Current Chamber Activities for 2009-2010
Update and Publication of the Bungendore Directory.
Update and maintenance of local website for Bungendore and the Chamber
Implementation of Funding from Department of State and Regional Development:
(a) Completion of a Situation Analysis for Bungendore - which identifies the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (S.W.O.T) to business and tourism development and retention in Bungendore.
(b) Implementation and Analysis of Business Retention and Expansion Survey
(c) Completion of Website Development Stage II - which incorporates paid/sponsored local advertising; and local 1-page website facilities.
Seek relevant State and Commonwealth Grants (on-going)
Work in coalition with Village business people, developers, Councillors, Council staff, and other interested parties, to assist in progressing infrastructure and amenity re-development (eg footpaths, treescape, town square, parking, toilets, lighting, signage ...) within the Village Commercial Precinct.
Implementation of some of the results from the 2008 Local Business Village Precinct Survey
Regular Business Marketing and Information Workshops.
Enhance Marketing through opportunities at Northbourne Tourism Information Centre; Improved Entry Signage; Festival promotion; promotion via the Website; etc.
RESULTS: Business Retention & Expansion Survey
In March 2010, the Bungendore Chamber of Commerceand Industry Inc asked local businesses to participate in the NSW Department of State and Regional Development Business Retention and Expansion Survey.
The Survey covers seven main areas: The Local Environment; Your Business; Your Markets; Employees; Business Plans and Decisions; Business Support Services; and Your Local Chamber.
The 5-page Executive Summary and section summaries have been compiled by Dr Jay Gomboso, Redd Dog (Aust) Pty Ltd (and Chamber Vice President).

FYE2010 Chamber & Sub-Committee Meetings
General Committee meetings of the Bungendore Chamber of Commerce and Industry are held on the 4th Monday of each month commencing at 6.30pm at Cafe Wood Works (18 Malbon Street, Bungendore NSW 2621 - unless specified otherwise). Chamber members and Visitors always welcome.
